With Roy dead, Banks has to go back to his childhood home to tell his parents. Simmering resentments between him and his dad are obvious and the sense of distance between Banks and his younger brother, start to surface. After Banks' parents plead with him to find out what happened to Roy, Banks defies DI Helen Morton and returns to the station to lead the investigation into the cuddles of both Roy and Jennifer Lewis.
