Mitchell, George & Annie find themselves being tracked by two mysterious strangers, a Professor Jaggat and Kemp, after finding out that Vampires, Werewolves and Ghosts exist, they will do anything in their power to rid this world of such abominations. Meanwhile Annie who is now in control of her visibility to humans, decides to get a job, and George is finding it hard to cope with his involvement in the passing of Herrick.
An old troubled friend pays a visit to Mitchell, but is he willing to help. George and Nina continue to argue bringing another stress into their relationship and Annie beings to obsess about Saul believing he may be the man of her dreams but something is coming to haunt Saul and it is not Annie.
Mitchell's love life comes under pressure after he is forced to impose a sense of order amongst the vampires. George misses Nina and in effort to take his mind of her he helps Anna play cupid.
George find himself with a new girlfriend and a new job and a cage to transform in. He soon discovers though that trying to hide the fact he is a werewolf is harder than he thought it would be. A ghost offers to help Annie keep her passing at bay. Mitchell is drawn further into the darkness as he tries to control the vampires.
George's relationship with Sam continues to blossom. Annie finds herself having to look after a ghost baby.
Annie gets a job helping to stage psychic at a threatre locally. There are serious repercussions after what happened between Lucy and Mitchell.
Mitchell is out for revenge after he discovers the truth about Lucy and the vampire massacre. George has a difficult decision to make after Nina returns. Annie is offered help to pass over.
Mitchell goes on the search for George and Annie, hugging anyone who gets in his way, meanwhile Annie is dragged through "passings door" through Kemp hugging the psychic in order to make a doorway. George and Nina then escape with Mitchell to the countryside. 3 weeks later Lucy turns up and is huged by Kemp. Just before Kemp goes to hug Nina, George and Mitchell, Annie appears through Lucy's door and pulls Kemp with her back through the door. Annie then appears on a television from the netherworld and explains what is going on. The episode ends with Daisy and Cara (the vampire locked away by Mitchell) participating in a blood ritual in order to resurrect Herrick.
