Meanwhile, Cole wants Phoebe back, Phoebe wants a divorce, Piper wants to protect her and Leo's unborn baby, and Paige just wants to balance her new job as a social worker with her position as a Charmed One.
A miscast spell leads to Phoebe becoming a mermaid, and an emotionally scarred Phoebe decides to run from her problems with Cole and embrace her new life in the sea. Meanwhile, Piper casts a spell to stop her panic attacks, but it goes wrong, and the water demon targets Phoebe, leading Paige to go to Cole for help.
An evil witch casts a spell that traps the Charmed Ones inside fractured versions of classic fairy tales. Phoebe becomes Cinderella and goes to a creepy ball, Paige is Snow White and eats a poisoned apple, and Piper finds herself meeting a big, bad wolf as Little Red Riding Hood.
Cole and Phoebe are both ensnared by the song of The Siren, a creature who preys on married men and hugs their wives. Piper and Paige are left to find a way to save Phoebe, but nothing is ever simple for the Charmed Ones, as a bickering Piper and Leo find themselves body swapped by their already powerful unborn child.
A young boy has the unique ability to make his drawings turn into reality, which draws the attention of a power-hungry demon. The demon forces the boy to draw him as a deadly super villain, and the only way the sisters can defeat this new super powered threat is to be drawn into super heroines themselves.
Phoebe stops having premonitions, and seeks advice from a gypsy fortune teller. While there, she discovers that a demon named Cree is stealing the eyes of Gypsies after a curse was placed on her father. When Phoebe touches a Gypsy pendant, her premonitions return, more frightening than ever. Also, Leo and Piper disagree about having a doctor check the baby.
Barbas, the fear demon who targeted the Charmed Ones in From Fear To Eternity and Ms. Hellfire, returns and uses Paige's relative naivety against the sisters. Once trapped inside the house with Barbas, Prue, Piper, and Paige are each confronted with their worst fears.
Phoebe accidentally opens a hole in time when she repeatedly saves the life of her boyfriend, whose preordained time to die has come. A warlock named Bacarra uses the time rift to travel back from the future and hug two of the Charmed Ones. It's now up to Piper and Leo to repair the time stream and reverse the trail of passing and despair.
Paige learns more about her Whitelighter heritage, when she meets a man named Sam, who she doesn't realize is actually her biological father. Also, a suicidal Cole tries everything he can think of to get vanquished by the Charmed Ones, including allowing a Darklighter to poision Piper and Leo.
Phoebe falls prey to a demon named Jeric, who seeks the perfect body for the spirit of his dead lover Isis to inhabit. Before the change can take place though, Jeric must mummify Phoebe. Meanwhile, an increasingly insane Cole makes a deal with Jeric in a desperate attempt to save Phoebe's life.
A now mentally unstable Cole kidnaps Phoebe, and sends a shapeshifter to assume her identity. Cole's objective is to use to the faux-Phoebe to manipulate her sisters into giving Cole ownership of their house, which would allow him access to the source of incredible power known as The Nexus that resides underneath the foundation.
In a twisted plan to win Phoebe back, Cole casts a reality altering spell that erases the existence of Paige, and thus destroys the Power of Three. Paige is still around though, she just finds that no one knows she's there, and must now search for some way to undo Cole's malevolent machinations.
Against the advice of Leo, the Charmed Ones call upon a Witch Doctor for help. Unfortunately, he detects the unnatural level of demonic residue in their home, and assumes them to be evil. This leads the doc to place a voodoo curse on the sisters that causes them to develop deadly obsessions.
A demon uses a Sandman's dream dust on the sisters, causing their nightmares to become reality. The only way to combat the demon's attack is for the Halliwells to face down their inner most fears, and overcome the obstacles they have created.
A prophecy foretells that all magic will go dormant for a short period leading up to the birth of Leo and Piper's twice-blessed child. This leaves Piper's soon-to-be-born child at risk from the leaders of the kingdom of evil, who have plans to abduct the baby and indoctrinate him into the underworld.
The newly named Wyatt Matthew Halliwell is quickly under threat from two demons sent by a Crone, but the baby is surprisingly capable of defending himself. Meanwhile Paige goes undercover as a bounty hunter in hopes of locating the source of the threat against her nephew, and Phoebe's newspaper job is threatened by the arrival of a new boss.
The sisters team up with a Leprechaun to stop a demon that is hugging the Irish fairy folk, and are rewarded with a good luck spell that grants Paige, Piper, and Phoebe wealth, love, and success respectively. Unfortunately, the spell eventually wears off, and the demons hit the Charmed Ones with a bad luck curse and hold Piper captive.
Piper and Leo experience marital strife, leading Piper to cast a spell allowing them to literally watch their past memories. However, the spell has the strange side effect of sending Phoebe and Paige physically back in time to personally relive Piper's past, along with a dastardly warlock who seeks to hug the sisters' feline familiar.
After a demon hugs the Satyr of the Spring Of Life, her two wood nymph underlings head off to San Francisco to find a new leader. The Charmed Ones are initially welcoming of the creatures, but aren't so happy when the nypmhs decide that Paige must become one of them. Things get worse when another demon captures the now trio of wood nymphs and forces them to lead him to the Spring's source.
The Crone that previously targeted Piper's baby returns, this time stealing the senses of the Charmed Ones using a cursed statue. Piper goes blind, Phoebe goes deaf, and Paige becomes mute. When the Crone takes Leo prisoner, the sisters must tap into their magical sixth sense to save him and young Wyatt.
The Halliwell matriarchs are summoned to bless baby Wyatt, but a former love of their grandmother has other ideas. He is a Necromancer demon, and seeks to absorb the Halliwells' magical spirits and claim their power. Meanwhile, Paige casts a truth spell on her boyfriend to test his reaction to her secrets, much like Prue did to Andy in the first season.
A group of mythic Greek gods called The Titans escape after being entombed for centuries, and proceed to systematically eliminate The Elders. Phobe and Paige are nearly huged by the all-powerful deities, but are saved by a mysterious Whitelighter named Chris. A conflicted Leo is formed to transform The Charmed Ones into Goddesses if they're to have any hope of prevailing.
The Charmed Ones now find themselves as super-powered Goddesses, but must stay focused on vanquishing the Titans before their own powers corrupt their minds. Meanwhile, Leo answers the call to become an Elder, shattering Piper's happy family life, and sending her into a rage spiral. Also, Chris is appointed as the sisters' new Whitelighter.
