It's one year later, and new faces are making their way into Tree Hill. Nathan's sports agent, Clay, faces a scandalous accusation that threatens Nathan's entire career just as Brooke and Julian's professional prospects soar with a new fashion line and a big movie. Haley receives a surprise visit from her sister. Meanwhile, Jamie's 7th birthday arrives.
Another former Tree Hill resident returns, while Haley and Mia has problems with selling records. Nathan has to deal with being seperate from his loved ones, but Clayton reminds him that he's in NBA. Dan finds a new friend in an unlikely ally, and Brooke tries looking for a new model for Clothes over Bros. But they didn't expect it when passing comes on their way.
It's time for a funeral for one of theirs, and Nathan comes home for the funeral. Dan shows up to pay his respects, while Nathan, Haley and Jamie pay respect to another grave that lies there. Quinn wants to have fun at Tric, and meet a new guy. Mouth gets another job offer, this time located in New York, while Julian gets hit by a model.
Nathan's fear comes true when the scandal becomes public. Haley talks with Quinn about her estranged husband David. A fashion show brings a responsibility for someone, in an unexpected way, while another makes a decision that could cost him his career.
Haley finds herself in the spotlight as Nathan's sex scandal grows. Meanwhile, Brooke allows Julian to keep working with Alex; Millicent lands a new job; and Clay and Quinn grow closer.
Haley debates her next course of action when Nathan's scandal begins to threaten his endorsement deals. Julian decides to give Alex another chance, and Brooke reconnects with Chase. Meanwhile, Millicent begins to doubt she has what it takes to be a model, and Clay tells Quinn his deepest secret.
