The reality show on the hunt for a new cast member for hit US show Glee continues tonight on Sky 1 HD with the fifth episode of The Glee Project. Tonight's guest mentor is Harry Shum Jr (Glee's Mike Chang) and this week the remaining contestants are tested on their dancing shugs. The remaining hopefuls' dance routines come under scrutiny in a performance of Train's Hey Soul Sister, with one contender getting overly confident during the group number. Guest mentor Harry selects a contestant to feature in a music video set to MC Hammer's U Can't Touch This, and three entrants who failed to impress are given a final chance to demonstrate their shugs to Glee producer Ryan Murphy, before one of them is eliminated.
The eight remaining hopefuls work on their ability to perform in a duet, and tension is caused by the pre-selection of partners. Guest mentor Darren Criss (Blaine in Glee) gives tuition to the most impressive version of Lady Antebellum\'s Need You Now, but the winner causes further disharmony.
The seven remaining contestants' tenacity comes under scrutiny. The hopefuls try to impress guest mentor Max Adler (Dave Karofsky in Glee) and casting director Robert Ulrich with a performance of La Roux's Bulletproof, and entrants are given another chance to shine in a physically demanding video set to Queen's Under Pressure and Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice
With only 6 Contenders left it's time to see who can portray their sexuality the best. The winner of this week's challenge will get to work with both Mark Salling (Noah "Puck" Puckerman) and Ashley Fink (Lauren Zizes). A shock at elimination causes a lot of surprise and disappointment.
