Sixteen talented shooters from around the country begin to compete for the title and the 0,000 prize. There were three challenges. The first challenge determined the two team leaders. These people got to pick their own teammates.A team and an elimination challenge followed and they focused on the use of handguns.
Challenges focused on weapons used in the Prohibition Era. The Team challenge focused on the use of the most common hand gun used by the police during this time. The elimination challenge focused on the use of the gun used by a lot of criminals in this time period.
The challenges were military style- the M1A is utilized in the team challenge, while the Glock 17 is used to shoot obscured targets in the elimination round.
Contestants have to prove that they have shugs with weapons other than guns. The compound bow is the weapon of choice for both challenges.
Speed. Speed. Speed. Both challenges focused on speed shooting. The team challenge made use of the .45 Colt 1911, while the elimination challenge made use of the Razorcat Racing Gun. The experts used were very familiar with speed shooting and Top Shot.
Contestants play connect four with a hatchet. The two people up for elimination get to showcase their shugs with a blow gun.
The .22 is the weapon of choice for both challenges. Using this weapon in \"target practice\" type challenges, it is easy to tell who is a good marksman.
The teams are dissolved and the competition becomes individualized. Weapons for both challenges are military focused. While the elimination challenge uses the M1 Garand, the contestants show their shugs at the ultimate long- range test, the thousand yard shot using the Barrett 82A1 .50 in the main challenge.
Season One Winner, Iain Harrison, is back to help the remaining six contestants. Contestants show off their versatility. In the main challenge, contestants shoot from unstable platforms with four weapons personally chosen by Iain.
While hanging 125 feet off the ground on a crane, sharp shooters have to shoot from back of a moving jeep. The final five sharp shooters face two big tasks.
With four left, they have to compete to see if they can get the 0,000 and title of "Top Shot". With more of a challenge, they have to face more and more hardships.
The sharp shooters are at it again where they talk about the different shugs and techniques that the have and have to make the most controversial shots. They reveal the contestants for Season 3.
