The ballroom lit up once again for the Dancing with the Stars season 20 premiere! Once again, our hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews welcomed us back, this time for the 10th anniversary season.
The 12 celebrities had all chosen some of their favorite songs ever to dance to with styles including Jive, Cha Cha, Foxtrot, Rumba, Samba, Salsa and Argentine Tango.
Dancing with the Stars season 20 started really heating up with Latin Night, where the shirts came off and the competition went full-on. The 11 remaining couples danced the Samba, Rumba, Salsa, Cha Cha, Argentine Tango or Paso Doblé as they competed for the judges' scores and America's votes.
Things got a little emotional in the ballroom as Dancing with the Stars season 20 celebrated "Most Memorable Year". Each couple performed to a song of the celebrities choosing that encompasses an unforgettable time, or truly incredible experience in their life.
An elimination occurs after the fifth week of performances, which feature songs from Disney films. Also: an opening number with live and animated characters.
The eight remaining couples celebrate the season with individual routines to spring break inspired songs plus a competitive team dance performance.
The seven remaining couples will perform an iconic number from a different time period.
Show-stopping performances featuring past and present DWTS cast members and pro dancers plus a look back at fan-favorite moments from the past 20 seasons.
Each couple will perform two full routines including an individual original dance and a trio dance.
The competition is neck and neck as each couple fights to make it to the top 3 and dance in the finale.
It was a jam-packed night that kicked off with a simply American performance choreographed by Mandy Moore for Almay to honor the women of the U.S. Military.
