Four chefs who proved their rising star status in the Tournament of Champions arena are now Guy Fieri's newest first timers, so they have to make a winner's dinner while playing one of GGG's oldest and coldest games - frozen food can-can. Then, the new stars play another OG game - menu magnet madness - and prepare the dish they each had a part in picking. A new winning star is born and celebrates by grabbing a big cash prize.
Four cheese-obsessed chefs go head-to-head in two challenges; Guy Fieri rolls a cheese die to determine how many different types of cheese the chefs must use before they shop the sample tables for their cheesy winner's dinner.
Iron Chef Alex Guarnaschelli makes her triumphant return to Flavortown Market by taking on fellow culinary greats Rocco DiSpirito and Brian Malarkey in one of the most twisted competitions yet. As soon as these all-stars begin shopping for their hometown favorite, Guy Fieri announces the store is closing. Then, Guy hits them with his new swap wheel, which determines whether they have to swap stations, ingredients or places with the judges! In the second round, Guy tells them to swap dishes, turning the burger and fries ingredients they shopped for into a high-end dinner. The chefs continue to swap till they drop, and ultimately the winning chef earns an automatic ,000.
Guy Fieri divides six acclaimed chefs into teams of three to compete in a game day food battle fought relay-style in 10-minute shifts. The first chefs shop for a game day feast whose components satisfy three descriptive words selected in a game day draft pick. After each shift, the chefs enter a giant "ice box" that prevents them from talking to teammates, but Guy gives each chef a chance to communicate non-verbally by holding up big letters and acting out charades. Ultimately, the team that creates the best and most accurate game day plate will go on a relay shopping spree worth up to ,000!
Guy Fieri invites two powerhouse culinary duos from Los Angeles and San Francisco to prepare three-course feasts designed to prove which city's food is best. First up, the teams must make a 15-minute cold appetizer and 30-minute hot appetizer featuring iconic food items from both cities. Then, in a game inspired by each city's legendary sports teams, the chefs must score footballs to decide how many ingredients they can include in their regional entrees. The city team with the highest combined score wins ,000 and Golden State bragging rights.
Guy Fieri brings in two pairs of hot shot chefs from Chicago and New York who have one non-stop hour to prepare a regional feast that proves their city's food is truly world-class. In honor of "The Big Apple" and Chicago's "The Bean" sculpture, each team must select a unique 2-for-1 apple and bean food duo to feature in their appetizer and entrée. The teams are told mid-cook that they must also prepare a regional dessert featuring a canned item they knock down with a pitch worthy of their legendary baseball teams. The team with the highest combined score wins ,000 and big city bragging rights.
The winners of the first two City Food Fights return to prove once and for all which is the best food city in the country. Playing games inspired by their city's legendary basketball teams, Guy Fieri challenges the teams to prepare three winning courses. First, the chefs have 24 minutes to make one of their city's signature sandwiches, but they'll be dribbling a basketball while shopping. Then in the second half, the chefs must make a winner's dinner and dessert that feature the whammy ingredients chosen by the hoops. The team with the highest combined score wins an additional ,000 and the GGG City Food Fight champion trophy!
Chefs who believe they should have won their GGG episode call out their market rivals for a single round, ,000 showdown they hope will settle the score. First up, a Los Angeles "Seoul food" chef challenges the Vancouver opponent who beat her by one point to a guilty pleasure rematch. Before she can tip the scales of justice in her favor, both chefs must use the produce scales to weigh in no more than 8 pounds of ingredients. Then, five-time GGG winner Tracey Shepos Cenami calls out GGG judge Eric Greenspan, who defeated her in a cheesy battle. Justice isn't the only one that's blind as the blindfolded rivals grab clearance cart items to feature in their cheesy winner's dinner.
Guy Fieri invites three experienced chefs to prove they're the "King of the Chill" by outcooking each other - and ultimately a GGG judge - in a frozen food fight. First, the chefs make their best seafood dinner using nothing but items from the frozen aisle. The winner earns an automatic ,000, while their two rivals are frozen out of the competition. The winning chef then gets a shot at turning their prize money into ,000 if they can beat the GGG judge of their choice in a Sunday supper showdown featuring more frozen food, plus three fresh items that satisfy a cool grocery list.
Three of Flavortown's favorite chefs join forces with their spouses in a non-stop, three-course competition that will test their cooking chops and communication skills. First, couples play Guy Fieri's "Newly-Fed Game", in which knowing a partner's food preferences could make the difference between shopping with a grocery basket or a sandwich bag. Couples are given one hour to make a date night dinner featuring an early appetizer and a winning entrée. Mid-way through the cook, the couples learn they must also make a dessert planned on the fly via cellphone as spouses race to grab ingredients.
