Mo is feeling positive, as it is time to return William to Brett. However when there is a setback and Brett has second thoughts when Sorcia's mother is called in, who insists that Mo no longer sees William. Mo feels she needs William, and runs away with him. Sacha is finally being interviewed for the post of Consultant General Surgeon, but when he finds out Patsy Brassvine coerced his patient into having keyhole instead of open surgery, resulting in complications and two further operations, Sacha makes it clear to Hanssen and the board that his patient care will always come above any promotion. Serena has a rather difficult day on AAU, when her ex-husband Edward invites her to his wedding, and she has to deal with a hysterical Arthur who has a toy soldier stuck in his arm.
