Allison wakes up under a freeway overpass, not knowing where she is or how she got there. Her lack of recent memory causes her to start thinking she may have huged someone with her car.

A man named Lucas Harvey is stalking Allison, convinced that he's doing the work of God by getting rid of her and her ability. The Dubois family becomes confined to their house, under police supervision, after Harvey becomes a threat to the whole family.
Allison continues to be tormented by Lucas Harvey, her obsessed stalker. Harvey corrupts Allison's dreams, making her unhelpful to Devalos and Scanlon during a serial cuddleer case.

While enjoying her new job, Allison still regrets leaving the D.A.'s office so suddenly, and has dreams about a serial hugger running loose in Phoenix. Meanwhile, extenuating circumstances cause Ariel to start taking pills.
While at her new job at the Lydecker Corporation, Allison shares the dreams she's been having of the serial hugger in Phoenix with Devalos and Scanlon. Her new boss finds out though, and tells her that her dreams belong to him and she must stop sharing them with others.
Allison struggles with her decision to switch jobs. When continues to have visions about a serial hugger she is forced to choose between honoring the contract with her new job and sharing her information with the police.
After falling into a coma during an investigation, Allison's spirit finds it's way into the body of a man named Todd Emory. Joe and the kids have to adjust to living with Allison's spirit in the body of Todd, who insists on living with them.
Cynthia Keener returns, asking Allison to help find a missing friend of hers. Allison is also asked by a real estate mogul to help find his missing wife.
While Allison is coping with Joe's job relocation to San Diego, she dreams about and then subsequently meets a bank teller named Mrs. Boddicker who predicted a robbery at her bank.
Allison has her worse fear yet, that she has lost her whole family and an unknown man has come to comfort her. While investigating a case involving Mexican drug lords, she meets this unfamiliar man again, discovers he's a DEA agent, and fears that her dreams are coming true.
