The duo find themselves being thrown together to investigate the passing of car salesman Carl Mercer, who has been discovered dead in the boot of one of his showroom's vehicles.
Jack and Georgina are called in to investigate the cuddle of a student on an university campus, and they are soon drawn into the complicated and overly PC world of gender politics.
After the duo are temporarly demoted to Missing Persons they are drawn into a case involving secrets and sexual indiscretions at a local gym.
After a contestant in a television amateur chef competition is discovered dead, Georgina is sent undercover to replace her. She soon finds that her competitive side is threatening to get in the way of solving the case. Jack is determined to use Georgina's culinary shugs to help woo the new lady in his life.
Jack and Georgie have to go to a popular local primary school to try and solve the gruesome cuddle of the headmaster. They soon realize though that the facts don't quite add up after they think they have cracked the case. Georgina is worried about her parents' divorce. Jack finds the yummy mummies at the school difficult to resist.
Jack and Georgina are called in to investigate a unhappy robbery at a family-run jeweller and along the way they manage to get a glimpse into a world of diamonds and romance.Georgina isn't impressed by the stones but she does find a romance of her own, as she enters the complicated world of internet dating. Jack's relationship issues are with his brother, who has unexpectedly asked him to be his best man at his upcoming wedding.
