Auditions continue in London and Manchester as hosts And and Dec and judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan continue their search for new talent across Britain.
Ant and Dec host the last round of auditions in Cardiff, Birmingham and London where acts see judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan. The judges will also reveal the 24 semi finalists that will perform live on the next show.
Ant and Dec present the first of the semi finals. The first set of hopefuls who made it through the audition process compete against each other to try and secure a place in the series final. Paul Potts manages to win the public vote and makes it through to the final. The judges then have to decide between Damon Scott and Dominic Smith who to put through. After a split vote Damon manages to make it through.
More of the successful acts from the auditions return hoping to impress the judges and the viewers in an effort to gain a place in the series final. Bessie Cursons manages to win the public vote and gain the first available place in the final. Kombat Breakers and Craig Womersley then face the judges to see who has gained the second place available. The judges then decide to put the Kombat Breakers through.
The last of the successful audition acts compete against each other in the hope of gaining a place in the series final. The judges given their verdicts on what they have seen. Connie Talbot wins the public vote and makes it through to the final. The Bar Wizards then gain the second place available when they decide to put them through over Tony Laf.
Ant and Dec host the live final where the remaining 6 acts perform on Britain's Got Talent for the last time in front of judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan. Viewers will then vote for the winner who will receive a £100 000 cash prize and the chance to perform at the Royal Variety Performance.
Ant and Dec return with the results of the viewer votes and announce that Paul Potts has been crowned the series champion.
