A brand new series of Britain's Got Talent starts today and Ant and Dec host the first auditions shows. The judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan return to cast their eye over a new batch of contestants hoping to make it through to the next round. As before, the winner of the series will perform in front at the Royal Variety Performance this year.

The first set of semi finalists perform live in front of the judges and viewing audience. After all the acts have performed the phone lines are opened for tonight's public vote. At the end of the show Ant and Dec announce that Susan Boyle has the most amount of votes and has made it through to the final. Diversity and Natalie Okri learn they have the next most amount of votes. The judges then decide to put Diversity through to the final.
The second set of semi finalists perform live in front of the judges and viewing audience. The judges give their verdict on each act after they have performed. At the end of the show Flawless learn they have made the final with the most amount of viewer votes. Shaun Smith and Gareth Oliver then learn they have the next amount of votes. The judges then decide to put Shaun through to the final as well.

At the end of the show Stavros Flatley learn they have made it through to the final when they top the public vote. Shaheen Jafargholi then manages to make it through as well when the judges choose to put him through over the MD Showgroup.

At the end of the show Julian Smith learns he has the most amount of viewer votes and has made it through to the final. 2 Grand and Callum Francis then have to face the judges to see who will get the other place. The judges decide to put 2 Grand into the final.

Aidan Davis learns that he has the most amount of viewer votes and has made it through to the final. Holly Steel and Greg Pritchard learn they have the next most amount of votes. The judges then decide to put Holly through to the final.
