The first set of hopefuls audition in front of the judges. New to the judging panel this year are Alesha Dixon and David Walliams. The first set of acts fail to impress the judges but when Sam Kelly takes to the stage he manages to impress all the judges with his voice. Only Boys Allowed also manage to impress. Jonathan and Charlotte manage to get everyone on their feet with their amazing performance and sail through to the next round.
The second set of hopefuls audition in front of the judges hoping to gain a place in the next phase of the competition. The auditions begin in Blackpool where Lily and the Pineapple Hunks fail to impress. After more unsuccessful acts have performed Ashley Elliott takes to the stage and manages to make it through. The auditions then move onto Birmingham where Beatrix Von Bourbon manages to impress with her Burlesque Dancing. Boy band The Mend also make it through. Deja Vu fail to impress the judges after the auditions move onto London. The Twist & Pulse Dance Company do much better though and sail through to the next stage of the competition. When the auditions return to Blackpool, Ryan O'Shaughnessy manages to impress all the judges with his voice.
The third set of hopefuls audition in front of the judges hoping to gain a place in the next phase of the competition. The auditions begin in London where The Zimmers manage to impress all the judges and the studio audience. Twisted Disco are not so successful though and fail to impress the judges. Four Corners begin a run of successful acts who do manage to impress the judges though. Richard Bolongi fails to impress the judges though with a song that he has written for his ex girlfriend. Chelsea Redfern manages to impress all the judges with her voice. More acts fail to impress the judges until 49 year old rapper Zipparah takes to the stage. Ashleigh Butler and her dog Pudsey manage to impress all the judges and sail through to the next stage of the competition.
The fourth set of hopefuls audition in front of the judges hoping to gain a place in the next phase of the competition. The first to perform this week are the Showbears who manage to get all of the audience up on their feet. David ends up joining them on stage and performs with them. Next up is a Hungarian acrobatic basketball team called Face Team who also manage to impress the judges. Sixteen year old Essex girl, Hope Murphy hopes to impress the judges with her voice and ends up giving an outstanding performance. The auditions move on to Edinburgh where Neil Lawson fails to impress the judges. Lots more acts fail to impress the judges before fourteen year old Paige Turley takes to the stage and manages to impress everyone with her voice. When the auditions return to London. dance troupe United We Stand manage to impress the judges. More dance acts manage to impress the judges before Strictly Wheels takes to the stage. Paula who is one half of the act is in a wheel chair and they manage to impress all of the judges.
The fifth set of hopefuls audition in front of the judges hoping to gain a place in the next phase of the competition. Those who manage to impress the judges this week include Cascase whose act features a mixture of human stunts and acrobatic martial arts and madcap singer Chica Latina. Others to impress include twelve year old singer Lauren Thalia and dance act Karizma Krew.
The sixth set of hopefuls audition in front of the judges hoping to gain a place in the next phase of the competition. Amongst those who manage to impress this week are Malakai Paul, Molly Rainford, B Minor, The Jive Aces and Callum Oakley.
The seventh set of hopefuls audition in front of the judges hoping to gain a place in the next phase of the competition. The judges have to go outside in the rain to see Aquabatique perform and they manage to impress all the judges and go through to the next phase of the competition. Others to impress include contortionist Lucky and drummer Michael Fish. Latvian comedian Gatis Kandis manages to make the judges laugh with his unusual style of stand up. After the auditions come to a close the judges have to decide which 45 acts will progress to the live semi finals.
The first set of nine semi finalists perform live in front of the judges and the audience. After each act has performed the judges give their views on what they have seen and heard. At the end of the show the phone lines are opened for the first public vote of the series. Whilst the public votes Tulisa performs live on stage. After the phone lines are close Ant and Dec reveal that The Mend, Ashley and Pudsey and Only Boys Aloud are in the top three. They then reveal that Ashley and Pudsey have topped the public vote and gained the first place in the final. The judges then are split in their decision on who else should make the final. After it goes back to the public vote Ant and Dec reveal that Only Boys Aloud have gained the second available spot.
The second set of semi finalists attempt to impress the judges and viewers at home. Amongst those who manage to impress to tonight include Jonathan and Charlotte. At the end of the show the phone lines are opened for the second public vote of the series.
The Wanted perform live on stage. Ant and Dec reveal that Paige Turley, Johnathan and Charlotte and Kai and Natalia are in the top three tonight. They then reveal that Jonathan and Charlotte have topped the public vote and gained the first place in Saturday's final. The judges then decide that Kai and Natalia should gain the second available slot.
The third set of semi finalists attempt to impress the judges and viewers at home. Molly manages to impress all the judges with her vocals. Contortionist Lucky, The Loveable Rogues and The Twist & Pulse Dance Company also manage to impress. At the end of the show the phone lines are opened for the third public vote of the series.
LMFAO perform live on stage. Ant and Dec reveal and Molly, The Loveable Rogues and The Twist & Pulse Dance Company have mad the top three. They then reveal that The Loveable Rogues and topped the public vote and gained a place in Saturday's final. The judges are then split in their decision who should join in the final. Ant and Dec then reveal that Molly has more public votes and has gained the second spot in Saturday's final.
The fourth set of semi finalists attempt to impress the judges and viewers at home. Amongst those who manage to impress tonight include Gatis, Nu Sxool and Sam Kelly. At the end of the show the phone lines are opened for the fourth public vote of the series.
Labrinth performs live on stage. Ant and Dec reveal that Sam Kelly, Nu Sxool and Malaki are in the top three tonight. They then reveal that Sam has topped the public vote and gained the first place in the series final. The judges then decide to put Nu Sxool through to th final as well.
The final set of semi finalists attempt to impress the judges and viewers at home. Amongst those who manage to impress tonight include Billy, Callum, Hope and Ryan. At the end of the show the phone lines are opened for tonight's public vote.
Rebecca Ferguson performs live on stage. Ant and Dec reveal that Aquabatique, Ryan and Billy are in the top three. They then reveal that Ryan has topped the public vote again and gained the first place available in Saturday's final. The judges then decide that Aquabatique ahould join Ryan in the final.
The finalists take to the stage one last time hoping to impress the judges and viewers at home. Ant and Dec reveal that The Mend is this year's wild card act. After all of the finalists have performed the phone lines are opened for tonight's public vote. Diversity and Susan Boyle perform live on stage. After the phone lines close Ant and Dec reveal that Jonathan and Charlotte, Ashleigh & Pudsey and Only Boys Aloud are in the top three. They then reveal that Only Boys Aloud have finished in third place. They then announce that Ashleigh & Pudsey have been crowned this year's winners.
