The first set of hopefuls audition in front of the judges hoping to gain a place in the next round of the competition. Martin Cable impresses Piers and Amanda with his comedy routine and makes it through to the next round of the competition. When Simon is taken ill, Louis Walsh steps into his shoes as the third judge on the panel and all three judges are impressed after 10 year old Chloe Hickinbottom performs the Vera Lynn hit 'The White Cliffs Of Dover'. They are also impressed when Tina Humphries and her dog Chandi perform a ballet routine. When Simon returns to the panel dancer Tobias Mead manages to impress and makes it through.
More hopefuls audition in front of the judges hoping to gain a place in the next round of the competition. Tia Brodie's unique act sees her though to the next round. The Arrangement manage to impress everybody and receive a standing ovation and make it through to the next round of the competition. Max Oliver also makes it through after he does an impersonation of Lady Gaga even though Simon wasn't impressed. Spelbound manage to impress all the judges and sail through to the next round after a gymnastics display. Christopher Stone vows the audience and judges with his version of 'Maria' and also makes it through.

Flute Magic don't manage to impress Simon but Piers and Amanda decide to put them through anyway. Boyband Connected are given a second chance after Simon says their first performance was 15 years out of date. After performing again all the judges decide to put them through to the next stage of the competition. 14 year old Olivia Archbold manages to vow all the judges with her voice and sails through to the next stage of the competition.

Dance act The Chippendoubles manage to impress the judges with their unique routine and gain a place in the next round of the competition. Specialist act Hayashi also impress and make it through with their Samurai sword routine. Even though Othelio fail to impress Simon with their singing, Piers and Amanda decide to put them through to the next stage of the competition. 80 year old Janey Cutler surprises the judges with her amazing voice and sails through to the next stage of the competition.

Dance duo Twist & Pulse manage to impress all the judges and make it through. 16 year old Josh Barry impress the judges with his voice and makes it through. Dance group Ice also impress and sail through to the next stage of the competition.
The auditions continue, and judges Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden see more of the thousands of acts hoping to win the life-changing prize of 100,000 pounds and a slot at this year's Royal Variety Performance. The competition is open to any act of any age, and the judges see some of the best - and worst - talent in the country. Those to impress and make it through tonight include Christine and miming pig Timmy, street dancers Peridot and A3. At the end of the show the judges then decide which 40 acts to put through to the live semi finals.

The final act to perform, Spelbound end up stealing the show with their amazing gymnastics routine and leave all the judges wowed. The judges then have to decide between Connected and Neil who gained the next most amount of votes. The judges then choose Connected to go through to the final.

On a night where all the acts up their game from from the auditions, Paul Burling and Christopher Stone receive the best comments from the judges. At the end of the show the phone lines are opened for tonight's public vote.
Pixie Lott performs live on stage. Ant and Dec reveal that Paul Burling has topped the public vote and has gained a place in the final. The judges then have to decide between Christopher Stone and Peridot who gained the next most amount of votes. The judges then decide to put Christopher through.
The fourth set of eight semi finalists perform live hoping to impress the judges and the viewers at home. Whilst some of the acts struggle tonight, Twist & Pulse and Janey Cutler get rave reviews from the judges. At the end of the show the phone lines are opened for tonight's public vote.
Miley Cyrus performs live on stage. Ant and Dec reveal that Janey Cutler has topped the public vote and has gained a place in the final. The judges then have to decide between Twist & Pulse and The Fusion who gained the next most amount of votes. The judges split in their decision but Twist & Pulse end up making it through.
The final set of eight semi finalists perform live hoping to impress the judges and the viewers at home. Most of the acts on tonight's show improve on their performances from the auditions and it's the most open of all the semi finals. At the end of the show the phone lines are opened for tonight's public vote.
JLS perform live on stage. Ant and Dec reveal that Kieran Gafney has topped the public vote and have gained a place in the final. The judges then have to decide between Liam McNally and A3 who gained the next most amount of votes. The judges are split in their decision but Liam makes it through.
Ant and Dec present live coverage of the 2010 final. All ten acts manage to vow the judges and its a difficult night to judge who will be crowned the series champions. After all ten acts have performed the phone lines are opened for tonight's public vote. Usher performs live on stage. Kieran, Twist & Pulse and Spelbound learn they have finished in the top three. Ant and Dec then announce that Kieran has finished in third place. Spelbound are then announced as the series champions.
