Daphne's ex-fiancee Clive comes to Seattle when he and Daphne agreed when they broke up that if none of them were attached 5 years later they would give it another go. However Daphne only agreed to this to break up with Clive without breaking his heart as much. Clive comes to Frasier's appartment and Daphne wants to let Clive know that there's no chance of them getting back together.
Roz sets Frasier up with her golf pro friend. Frasier is really interested in going out with her, but she manages to meet Bulldog at Cafe Nervosa. Bulldog ends up going out with her and falls in love with her.
Frasier dreams he is in a hotel room with the word "Chesty" tattooed on his arm, and out from the shower comes Gil Chesterton, this dream disturbs Frasier and he plans to find out the meaning behind the dream.

After Niles helps him he relies on Niles' help for the success of future games.
When Daphne breaks up with her current boyfriend, Niles decides to let Daphne know about his feelings for her, however Frasier urges Niles to wait another day because he thinks it's too soon since Daphne's break-up. However by the time the next day arrives, Roz takes Daphne to a singles bar where she meets an almost exact replica of Niles.
The Cranes pack up and visit Lilith and Frederick for Thanksgiving. Lilith and Frasier meet with the dean of a prestigious school, hoping to enroll Frederick. After their initial visit goes poorly, they return time and time again, hoping to ingratiate themselves with the headmaster.
